Pallet Stacker Crane Description

Components of Pallet Stacker Crane:
Mast: The vertical tower-like structure that houses the lifting

during lifting and transport.
Lifting Mechanism: Usually a hydraulic or electric system that raises and lowers the
forks/platform.
Horizontal Movement System: Allows the crane to move horizontally along a track or rails.

How Pallet Stacker Crane Works:
Storage:
- The stacker crane starts at a designated point.
- It moves horizontally to the desired storage location.
- The lifting mechanism raises the forks/platform to the desired
height.
- The forks/platform then enters the storage location where it
deposits the pallet.
Retrieval:
- When an item needs to be retrieved, the crane is directed to the
location in the storage system.
- The lifting mechanism lowers to the appropriate level.
- The forks/platform enter the storage location and lift the pallet.
- The crane moves horizontally to the retrieval point.
- The pallet is lowered or transferred to another system for further
processing or shipping.
